Jacques obtained his PhD from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam in 2010, after developing and conducting several clinical and non-clinical studies concerning headache and migraine in children and adolescents in addition to his work as a pediatrician and pediatric neurologist in the Vlietland Hospital. He has lectured on many occasions on pediatric headache and migraine in The Netherlands, Sweden and internationally and is considered as an expert in this field. He is a member of the Swedish and Dutch Pediatric and Pediatric Neurological Society, the Pediatric Subcomittee of the International Headache Society, and the Swedish Headache Society.
